About Us - Meet the team

Sydney is a Director at Spectrum Living Ltd, and is the line manager, practice lead and senior mentor at Pioneer House.

He is a qualified Social Worker with more than a decade’s experience in social work with children and young people and their families, primarily in Child Protection and Safeguarding. He also has wide-ranging experience in duty and assessment teams, LAC and also supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC). Sydney has always had a strong desire to forge a long-term career in child protection and safeguarding, and supporting young people to be the best they can be. He is an effective communicator who relates well with others to build an appropriate rapport and builds constructive and effective relationships. He has an excellent record of academic achievement, and the proven ability to work well with diverse groups of people. He has experience of public and private law proceedings regarding children and young people.  Sydney has been successful at dealing with all aspects of safeguarding and the assessment of risk and of the needs of children and their families.

Patience is a Director at Spectrum Living Ltd, and a senior mentor at Pioneer House.

She is a qualified Social Worker and has extensive experience in health and social care. Alongside her role at Spectrum Living Ltd, she is currently working within a local authority transitions team. This is a specialist team supporting and safeguarding young people who are preparing for adulthood, who are living with a learning disability and/or autism, and have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). In this role, she supports young people and their families, to build sustainable long-term solutions to their care and support needs by focusing on enablement and independence. Her experience is invaluable in meeting the goals of Spectrum Living Ltd to support young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, and to contribute fully to their communities.

Diana is the Business Manager of Spectrum Living Ltd and is responsible for all the administrative functions of the company. 

Diana is responsible for all human resourcing duties including recruitment, organising training, payroll, and staff rotas, along with overseeing the financial business accounts. She also is responsible for monitoring building maintenance to ensure everyone in our homes is safe. Diana has extensive experience and skills within many business support roles in her career. Diana has excellent management, communication and engagement skills. Her natural friendly, caring, supportive and calm communication style is effective to get the best from her team, and she is able to promote a happy working environment and job satisfaction for her teams.
